Dracanea: The Ragtag Regalia is a comedy RPG adventure about washed-up hero Riker Tierros, who once saved the kingdom as a teen legend. As an adult now, he’s a slightly bored, slightly overexposed celebrity—until adventure calls, once again. Alongside his sharp-tongued partner Eevie, Riker must rally a crew of oddball heroes to stop the Rebel Army’s plot to conquer the kingdom.

About the Developer

Dracanea: The Ragtag Regalia is created, conceived, and developed entirely by Erik Adamo, a proudly non-binary artist and blue-collar worker from Long Island. Erik began developing Dracanea in the mid-2010s, aiming to capture the diversity and environment of their home while infusing the game with humor drawn from their background in stand-up comedy.

Development faced multiple bumps in the road, including marriage, surgeries, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Several years into renewed development, Erik was also diagnosed with a rare heart infection. Despite these challenges, they persevered and brought the game’s final vision to life.

In spite of all these experiences, Erik’s one hope is simple: that players just have fun.
