  • His estimated wealth is supposedly in the $700 million range. (We’re not sure what that is in Dracanea Plat, though.)


Bio

The mob-boss Mayor of Dracanea’s largest town, Dazzleburg City. He is extremely wealthy, politically powerful, and has many, ahem, “professional connections” at his disposal (don’t worry about it). That said he is loyal to the Queen, is an ally of the heroes, and generally is well-liked in his city. Him and Riker frequently butt heads due to their philosophical differences and the Mayor’s love for money and efficiency clouding his moral judgment.

Mayor Pontius also owns and runs Dazzleburg Colosseum a huge arena where competitive prize-fighting is held for public entertainment. He works on the side as an agent for two of the colosseum’s greatest fighters, Brock and Seraphina. In addition to this, he even owns a factory too! He’s got his hands in a lot of different pots so uh… don’t question him just go with it. Trust us.

Valence – The Right Hand Man

Bio
Valence is a man of mystery, serving as the imposing second-in-command of the Rebel Army. Whereas the Rebels’ leader remains shrouded in secrecy to protect themself, Valence puts himself out on the frontlines, doing necessary dirty work and directly controlling The Diatribe.

Little is known about him or his past, but it seems Valence harbors an incredible grudge against Riker and Queen Nikole, and has an obsession with the concept of destiny. His orderly persona and cunning intellect belies his cruel and ruthless nature within. While he has a flair for dramatic and showmanship, he has little tolerance for petty insults and insubordination. When he’s not plotting against the heroes, he enjoys a fine wine, and has a creepy fascination with smiles.

 

 

Hadron – The Scientist

Bio
Hadron serves as one of the Rebel Army’s three lead commanders, known as The Diatribe. Among a group of larger-than-life personalities, Hadron sticks out like a sore thumb in his incredible blandness. Quiet, unimposing, and more awkward than a 1-foot-tall coffee table, he’s content to merely lurk in the background, creepily plotting under his breath. Whereas Degrasse claims to be a genius, Hadron knows that he is a genius; he just doesn’t bother to say it out loud, to avoid confrontations.

Rumors say the Rebel Army is performing horrific experiments, blending this new-fangled field of “science” with preexisting magicological knowledge, and using humans as test subjects! A man of research, not of morals, Hadron supposedly leads these efforts, in hopes of launching Dracanea into a renaissance where technology eclipses the need for magic. While perhaps not as overtly evil as other members of the Rebels, Degrasse possesses absolutely no moral compass and places results above all else, while always finding a way to weasel out of a situation. (After all, he hates fighting, since he knows he doesn’t stand a chance in combat.)

 

 

Specter – The Prima Donna

Bio
Specter serves as one of the Rebel Army’s three lead commanders, known as The Diatribe. Amidst a group of soldiers and fighters, Specter stands out. If there is one thing she’s known for, it’s her incredible beauty. (And her incredible attitude.) A bit of a spoiled brat, Specter thinks she’s owed everyone and everything, and anyone who gets in her way will soon find themselves under her perfectly-polished boot.

Don’t let looks deceive, however, she’s not just a pretty face. Specter knows how to use that rapier, and slices foes to pieces on the battlefield. Maybe it’s for the best to not cross her, because of this short temper… But given that she wishes to use the Rebel Army as a means to purge Dracanea of people she deems undesirable, it might be hard to escape her wrath whether you want to or not.

Degrasse – The Edgelord

Bio
Degrasse serves as one of the Rebel Army’s three lead commanders, known as The Diatribe. Perpetually aloof, and convinced he’s the smartest person in every room, Degrasse believes that as the resident philosopher of the Rebels, he can lead Dracanea in a bold new direction that overthrows the status quo, into a utopia of enforced equality. (With him and his fellow Rebels ruling above everyone else, of course.)

Foregoing most of the teachings of Dio the Almighty, he sees Ethos and magic solely as a means to an end. And while he may have an inflated ego, he’s nevertheless a cunning enemy who isn’t to be underestimated!
